Procurement of the JANET Co-location Service Facilities

This procurement is for the provision of two co-location facilities independent of SuperJANET, at which JANET(UK) will host its own and third party equipment that is connected to SuperJANET. One of these co-location facilities will be located in southern England , ideally within the Slough , Reading and Swindon area and the other in northern England within the Leeds , Manchester and Warrington area. The two co-locations do not have to be provided by the same supplier.

The requirements are outlined in the Operational Requirement (OR). Alan Hames has been appointed as the Procurement Manager and a Procurement Panel will be formed. This procurement will be run according to the Open European Procurement Procedure rules.

Suppliers should note that before submitting a proposal they must register their intent to do this with JANET(UK).
