JANET POLICIES

Individuals and organisations that use the JANET network are required to obey the terms of use set by JISC for the network as set in the Terms for the Provision of the JANET service. This requires compliance with three policies, all of which have links on the JANET Policy Documents page.

Site Policies

Individual sites should also have their own policies for use of computers and networks, applying to their members and other users of their systems. A selection of site regulations, together with warning banners and other notices, is available. Users should ensure that they are aware of and abide by all the regulations which apply to their use of computers and networks.
